The week leading up to Runathon is always a little chaotic, but we rose to the challenge. We had a few kids and teachers participate in dressing up for the spirit days. We saw some cute pajamas, some crazy hair, and some favorite team spirit on Thursday. Our behavioral focus this week was using school tools appropriately. We learned how to carry our scissors while walking, to put the lids back on our markers and glue sticks, and to not press down too hard so we don't break our pencils, crayons, and markers. We talked about what to cut (only paper!) and what not to cut (our hair! our clothes!). And finally... Runathon! The weather was not as beautiful as it could have been but it was a fun morning nonetheless. Thanks to everyone who came out to join us and participate!

I loved the pictures of kids' art -- and that your family comes to so many school events! It's always neat to see them there. :)
