I have lots of photos to share! Let's dive right in! We are continuing with our world geography unit! We talked about seven different countries in Europe. A few of the kids can point out all seven on the map and tell you something interesting to see or do in that country. I had a number of requests to talk about China and Japan so we have moved on to Asia! In one of life's great coincidences a couple of the videos tailored to some special interests we have in our class. We talked about a sinking ship (!!) in Sweden and a puppet theater in Ukraine. We were able to acquire a brand new white board divider! The kids love to draw on it and Sasha and I even used it to do his reading lesson the other day. Unifed Day is coming up this Friday. Ella, Carson, and Corbin have been practicing some of the events in our Adapted PE class. We will all be ready to run on Friday. The biggest event of the last two weeks was the Fun Run at Hudson Mills Metropark. It was such a beautiful day. Thanks to everyone who sent in food and other needed items. It was great to have so many parents and family members turn out to walk with us. We had several peer partners from Forsythe that walked/ran with our kids as well. It is not a short hike! I love spontaneous moments of inclusiveness and even more so when they are caught on camera. Here's three friends reading together waiting for pick up!
