We are excited for Runathon this Friday, the Spirit Days, and all the fun and excitement of the upcoming week.
The first week of October went well. This week we talked a lot about Raising My Hand. We learned that we can raise our hand to ask for help, to ask a question, or to ask if we want to do something. When you raise your hand, you have to wait for your teacher to call on you. If we raise our hand instead of calling out our teacher's name, our friends will be able to concentrate on their work. We also learned that concentrate means thinking. We kept pretty busy last week following our regular routines. We had peers from Mrs. Shanteua's 3rd grade and Mrs. Fisher's fourth grade in our classroom as well, so we are working on maximizing our inclusion and reverse inclusion times as well. We are excited for Runathon this Friday, the Spirit Days, and all the fun and excitement of the upcoming week.
